I am searching for any Wroblewskis who were from Herne, Germany who might have moved to Pas-de-Calais in the early 1900's.
My grandfather had a sister named Anna who married Antone Wroblewski in Powidz, Poland and probably moved to Herne, Germany by the early 1900's. She had several sons who we believe moved to France at some point in time. Before my grandfather emigrated he lived in Lens, France. We do not know what happened to Anna Wroblewski's children other than that they "moved to France."
According to the French Death Index, there were several Wroblewskis who were born in Herne and died in Pas-de-Calais. I am trying to learn if any of these are related to me. The available online information is not adequate to learn anything about these people. My mother is 89 years old and Anna's children would have been her first cousins. I am trying to discover their fates.
I am hoping that one of the members of this group could help me.
Thank you.
